Position Summary...The Senior Analyst, Transportation Operations, supports the execution of strategies to enhance Last Mile Delivery operations and integrity. The Senior Analyst, Transportation Operations, supports the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance Last Mile Delivery operations. This role involves analyzing complex datasets to identify patterns and develop actionable insights. The position may also monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), report findings to leadership, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
This role also involves managing and optimizing various Trust and Safety operational processes, including driver onboarding, delivery quality, and customer service. The Senior Analyst may work on developing and implementing Trust and Safety controls, monitoring driver applications and conversion rates, and improving the user experience through enhancements to application portals and Last Mile Delivery platforms.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential in this role to drive continuous improvements across all operational components. The Senior Analyst may engage with stakeholders to align on data-driven recommendations, manage service level standards, and address customer and driver concerns. The position also focuses on compliance with internal and regulatory policies, identifying and implementing new technology features to support these requirements.
Additionally, the Senior Analyst may develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to provide insights into business performance. This includes automated and ad hoc reporting to facilitate quick, data-driven decisions. The role may involve training and mentoring team members on best practices and staying up-to-date with industry trends to ensure the continuous improvement of eCommerce operations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with large, complex, and disconnected data sets; able to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Comfortable using data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Google BigQuery, or similar platforms to build reports, dashboards, and operational insights.
  • Strong judgment and integrity when handling sensitive operational matters, including compliance issues, fraud indicators, and Trust & Safety escalations.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex findings, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams such as Legal, Compliance, Product, Technology, Operations, Customer Care, and third-party vendors.
  • Experience supporting operational controls, risk mitigation, fraud prevention, compliance processes, or platform integrity initiatives is an asset.
