Job description

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Perform all work in a manner that is safe for you and fellow co-workers
  • Organize inspections to review and report quality issues using AQL inspection techniques and software
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports to present to management team
  • Report all discrepancies with visual aids as well as written communication.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership of quality findings
  • Recognize current standards and policies (ASTM, CSA, NFPA, etc.) and assure all standards are met
  • Keep records of quality reports, and relevant documentation
  • Communicate with Quality Manager during inspections
  • Collaborating with various departments regarding inspection
  • Ensure products meet set quality and safety standards
  • Ability to differentiate between colors and shades of color

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development test equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience in quality inspection or related field is preferred
  • Self-starter with strong work ethics, positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to do basic math and basic computer skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Physical strength to lift to 50 lbs. and physical stamina to stand all day
  • Reliable and Trustworthy

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Corporate Office: This position operates in a professional office environment. Work is typically performed in a climate-controlled setting with standard office equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, and printers. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as to move throughout the office to access files, equipment, and meeting spaces. Noise levels are generally low to moderate.

Distribution Center: This position operates within a fast-paced distribution center environment. Work is performed around conveyor systems, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment. Noise levels range from moderate to loud depending on operational activity. Employees may work in areas with concrete floors, high-traffic zones, and variable lighting.
Temperatures may fluctuate based on seasonal weather and warehouse ventilation. Work may occur in shipping/receiving dock areas where outdoor conditions can impact airflow and temperature.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility, including navigating between aisles, racks, and storage locations.
