Job description

About Veho
Veho's mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.
We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.
Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the 'extension of the brand' and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy's, Sephora, and more.
To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.
Compensation:
$23 per hour
The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and generous PTO for full-time roles.
Anticipated Schedule: Evening shift - generally within the 16:00-02:30 window including weekends
About The Role:
As the Outbound Flow Lead - Transportation & Dock, you will bridge Transportation and Dock Operations during the evening shift, working the space between two teams to catch problems before they become service failures. You'll be on the dock and in the yard, watching for consolidation opportunities, ad hoc and cancellation risk, and carrier issues - and using what you see and the data available to you to influence how Operations and Transportation teams respond in real time. This is an individual contributor role, but success depends on your ability to get others to act on what you observe, not on formal authority over them.
Key Responsibilities
  • Be present and observe dock operations to identify consolidation opportunities and provide real-time feedback to Operations and Transportation teams.
  • Use available tools to identify potential ad hocs or cancellations, and bring findings to GO for approval.
  • Conduct yard walks during key carrier pickup time (CPT) windows, coordinating with and directing drivers as needed, including check-in/check-out support.
  • Track inbound late injections and communicate downstream impact to affected hubs.
  • Represent Transportation/Dock issues in daily syncs with GO partners and Logistics Managers.
  • Assist with wrap-down efforts at the end of shift, including organizing pallets by CPT and ensuring wrap and cap quality.
  • Send end-of-shift reporting summarizing ad hocs, cancellations, consolidation opportunities, and carrier issues.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment - standing, walking the dock and yard, and moving boxes or pallets as needed.

Qualifications
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in hub, dock, or yard operations, transportation dispatch, or a related logistics field.
  • Comfortable using data tools and dashboards as part of daily decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence peers and cross-functional partners without formal authority over them.
  • Strong communication skills - able to flag issues clearly and quickly, verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to work evening/overnight hours consistently.
  • Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.
  • Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.

Veho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it. No matter the location, or the role, every Veho teammate shares one galvanizing mission: driving commerce forward with a customer-centric delivery experience that's built for the modern era. We live by our leadership principles. We're looking for team members who are: obsessed over the customer, first-principles thinkers, builders at heart, intrinsically driven to win, and owners biased toward action.
Join us in building the future of ecommerce logistics and in doing the work of our lifetime!
