About the RoleResponsibilities:
  • Manage regional transportation operations to ensure operational efficiency, profitability, and service excellence.
  • Oversee and manage regional P&L performance, identifying opportunities to improve margins and reduce operational costs.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIโ€™s including utilization, safety performance, equipment productivity, driver turnover, and recruiting/hiring needs.
  • Develop action plans to address operational gaps and improve overall performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop transportation personnel across the region.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and performance management to regional operations teams and frontline leadership.
  • Promote employee engagement and professional development opportunities.
About YouWe Require:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
  • 5+ years of transportation, logistics, or fleet management experience with multi-site operational oversight preferred.
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations, DOT compliance, fleet utilization, and safety management.
  • Proven experience managing budgets and P&L responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel development experience.
  • Ability to drive implementation of system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and transportation related reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with CapEx processes and capital planning.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-location environment.
