Logistics and Operations Intern – Road Transportation
Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion (on-site)
Schedule: Evening shifts
Duration: As soon as possible
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Intern to join our team for the summer. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing our road transportation activities. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced logistics environment while contributing to the success of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and optimization of transportation routes;
  • Assist in coordinating daily pickup and delivery operations;
  • Track shipments and update statuses in internal systems;
  • Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations;
  • Prepare and process transportation documents (delivery notes, bills of lading, etc.);
  • Help resolve operational issues such as delays and logistical constraints
  • Contribute to KPI tracking and performance analysis
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and transportation regulations
  • Provide general administrative and operational support
What We’re Looking For
  • Currently pursuing studies in logistics, transportation, operations management, or a related field;
  • Strong interest in the transportation and supply chain industry;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;

  • Effective communication skills (French and English);
