Job description

Transporter/Cleaner
Location: ROOTS Clubhouse Closing Date: Open until filled
Hourly Rate: $16
Job Description: Transport clients participating in the youth programs. Provide and complete all daily transportation logs after each run. Complete daily cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, cleaning the bathrooms, taking out the trash, etc.).
Anticipated Schedule: Monday-Friday @ 40 hours
Competencies: Ability to operate vehicles carefully and competently, following all traffic laws. Ability to assist passengers on and off vehicle and help them with safety restraints. Ability to operate two-way radio and/or cellular telephone. Ability to recognize defects in the equipment that impact safety. Ability to perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspection. Ability to clean, fuel and maintain passenger van. Must be proficient with computers.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and one-year social service experience. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points.
