Hill International is seeking a Project Manager II in San Diego, California
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of medium-scale, medium complexity strategic business and technology projects.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives and present solutions to business challenges.
  • Responsible for budget and resource planning.
  • Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design.
  • Build business cases and project justifications.

Qualifications
  • B.S. in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval.
  • Minimum 5-6+ years experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects.
  • PMP required, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with customer approval.
  • IEEE, IEC participating member.
  • Adept at MS Project, Primavera (P6), or equivalent project management planning tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of cost management and controls, budget forecasting, demonstrated risk management and mitigation with exceptional communication skills.
  • California PE Preferred.
  • Hybrid schedule, Tuesday-Thursday in the office.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
