Job description

Overview

SJCRH seeks a highly motivated, faculty‑level (clinician scientist or clinical track) candidate at the Associate, Assistant, or Member level with training in hematology‑oncology and a strong interest in clinical/translational research and patient care. The appointed faculty member will focus on the Leukemia‑Lymphoma Division, collaborate closely with the Division Director, the Director of Oncology Clinical Medicine, and the Chair, and contribute to the Mission of the St.Jude NCI‑funded Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical research in identified sub‑disease fields within Leukemia‑Lymphoma.
  • Provide patient‑care services for Leukemia‑Lymphoma patients in collaboration with Division leadership.
  • Incorporate quality and process improvements into daily inpatient and outpatient clinical practice.
  • Integrate clinical education into routine practice to facilitate the learning experience of Hem‑Onc fellows, residents, and medical‑school students.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care delivery and translational research initiatives across the Department of Oncology.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD, DO) or MD/PhD; Board Certified or Board‑eligible in pediatric hematology‑oncology.
  • Strong academic potential with a proven track record of excellence in scholarship.
  • Experience in mentorship and fellowship training within an academic setting.
  • Engagement in clinical, educational, and translational research activities.
  • Ability to align individual goals with divisional, departmental, and institutional strategic objectives.
