About the Role:
SafeLink Transit LLC is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Shuttle/Bus Driver to join our growing team in Elk Grove, CA! This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in your community by providing safe, dependable transportation to passengers who count on you every day.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate shuttle buses and passenger vehicles along designated routes
  • Transport passengers to and from scheduled stops in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
  • Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and securing mobility devices as needed
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and incident reports
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and transit regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding route updates or issues
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement required
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Previous experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, or passenger transport preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Elk Grove and surrounding Sacramento area roadways
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
  • Punctual, dependable, and committed to passenger safety at all times
