The purpose of this position is to operate a transit bus on specified fixed routes with prescribed time schedules. Employee is responsible to provide safe, dependable and on-time transportation services to the public in a courteous and friendly manner. The transit operator must strictly adhere to all applicable state and local traffic laws and regulations, and City ordinances, safety rules, policies and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all passengers
