Current Location(s)/Counties needed: Region Wide
Part-time: 39 hours or less per week - Some flexibility with hours and days
Looking for a rewarding opportunity to stay active and make a difference in your community? Put your driving experience to work locally and join our team as a GoBus Driver. Our drivers are often the friendly face passengers rely on each day to help get safely to work, appointments, and other essential services. They provide reliable transportation to passengers throughout the East Texas region. As a Public Transit Driver, you will transport passengers to their destinations, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain a clean and safe vehicle. Requires short and long-distance driving, advanced vehicle handling, and strong GPS navigation skills. Able to adapt to changing routes is a must, ensure passenger safety and comfort on extended trips, and manage complex passenger transfers. Requires additional certifications and technical proficiency with tablets and scheduling software. Must live within 30 miles of the garage location.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of professional driving and customer service experience
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Ability to operate a tablet or mobile device
• CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, but not required
