Job Title: Bus Washer (RTS Access)
Reports To: Operations/Maintenance Supervisor (or designated supervisor)
Salary Range: $19.67 per hour (Union Position)

Current Schedule: SaturdayWednesday, 4:00 PM12:00 AM (Thursday and Friday off)

About the Role

The Bus Washer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of RTS Access transit buses. This position ensures buses are cleaned, fueled, and positioned for daily service while contributing to a safe, efficient, and customer-focused transportation operation. This is a physically demanding position requiring employees to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

  • Valid New York State Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Learner's Permit with Passenger Endorsement and no air brake restriction prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous vehicle washing, detailing, janitorial, or fleet maintenance experience.
