JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of Education and Training serves as an operational and strategic role in advancing the Transforming Mental Health (TMH) Initiative's innovation, education, training and workforce development strategies- directly reporting to the Transforming Mental Health Director. The Transforming Mental Health Initiative works toward effective prevention, early identification, policy advocacy, education, and research around innovative models of care to increase access to care and improve the mental health status of children and youth. The Manager, Education and Training, develops and implements the TMH Education and Training Plan across curriculum development, training implementation, and workforce pipeline initiatives. This role ensures the smooth execution of TMH non-clinical strategic priorities.
MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of experience
Demonstrated expertise in project management, grants administration, and performance improvement
Familiarity with manipulating complex data sets
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to establish positive rapport across diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in systems change, implementation science, and evidence-based mental health care models
Experience with grant-funded initiatives and cross-sector partnerships
Culturally competent and responsive
Demonstrated commitment to respecting differences and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree
Familiarity with mental health care models and research, as well as with California's behavioral health systems and Medi-Cal programs
The current salary range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06
