Job description

We're looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success - and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.

As a Process Transformation Leader for Engineered Building Solutions (EBS), you will be at the heart of our ambitious journey to redefine business processes. You will experience an environment where your transformative ideas and results-focused approach will thrive.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Improving and analyzing end-to-end value streams to eliminate friction points, reduce cycle times, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Partner with digital leaders to drive process improvement and use digital tools to improve processes.
  • Establishing standardized, repeatable, and scalable business processes across core functions of EBS.
  • Applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to ensure processes are built with high-quality, measurable controls.
  • Partnering with IT and systems architects to align technology directly with business processes and data flows.
  • Acting as the strategic liaison between leadership and functions to ensure operational readiness.
  • Assessing the operational and organizational impact of business strategy shifts and providing data-driven recommendations on structure and prioritization.
YOU HAVE:
  • Academic background in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Ideally 8+ years of previous experience in strategic operations, management consulting, or corporate transformation initiatives working in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience partnering with digital leaders to drive process improvement and using digital tools to improve processes. Experience with Oracle is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience building or transforming operational structures, preferably within a startup, new venture, or rapidly growing business unit.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a proven track record of influencing senior collaborators and guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Strong data literacy; able to bring to bear operational metrics and financial parameters to justify architectural decisions.
  • Ability to work from our Houston, TX or Madison, WI locations and travel on average 10% of the time.

WE HAVE:

  • A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day
