Our client is a versatile financial valuation firm servicing privately-held and public companies, individuals, and government agencies, capable of answering all value-based and financial inquiries. Engagements range from startups and family businesses to multi-billion-dollar enterprises. Clients vary from business owners and management teams to attorneys, accountants, and bankers. Our client's accredited valuation professionals (CFA, CPA, ASA, PhD, ABV, CFF, CVA) offer expertise across a broad range of financial and tax matters and in the creation, application and defense of sophisticated valuation methodologies.
Job Description
Our Client is looking to hire an experienced transaction advisory consultant at the director or principal level. The individual should be able to prepare, manage, and sell transaction advisory consulting services including financial due diligence, quality of earnings reports, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, valuations, and investor presentations. This individual will be expected to generate significant sales and should be comfortable at performing selling activities.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Developing business by managing existing client relationships and developing new clients
  • Developing marketing materials including whitepapers and blogs
  • Presenting and networking at conferences and similar events
  • Developing and/or managing the development of financial analyses and models
  • Preparing and/or managing the preparation of reports and presentations

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10-years of applicable experience
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business (MBA or MS in Accountancy)
  • Professional designations such a CPA or CFA
  • Ability to self-generate sales of at least $500,000 per year
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex finance/economic issues to non-technical audiences
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
