Summary
The Analyst - West Coast W&D (Warehouse Operations) position optimizes warehouse operations and inventory management by analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure inventory accuracy. Their key responsibilities include managing inventory, improving warehouse systems and processes, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with other departments to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze warehouse operations, inventory, and logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
    • Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
    • Support and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve accuracy and efficiency
    • Report inventory data, In & Out schedule and status to warehouse manager
    • Prepare for and support audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and readiness based on Manager instruction
    • Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery of products
    • Monthly/periodic expense settlement and troubleshooting
    • Monitor and assess warehouse operation and related goals and targets for efficiency, KPI performance, and implement strategy for logistics when necessary
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures
    • Implementing and overseeing security operations
    • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
    • Support the accounting team with accounts receivable and payable (AR/AP) related to warehouse operation, including invoice reconciliation and payment follow-up
    • Support maintenance of warehouse documentation, including shipment records, inventory logs, and compliance filings
    • Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and 3PL providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of international cargo
    • Participate in logistics planning and provide operational input for infrastructure development or new customer on-boarding
    • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements related to warehouse performance, compliance, and cost efficiency
    • Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range
$52,000 - $56,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
