Job description

Apply to this opportunity as a Radiology / X-Ray Technologist with a top hospital in the Southern part of New Mexico! Sign-on bonus and relocation bonus offered!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Position patients accurately and ensure proper alignment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and staff.
  • Review and evaluate images for technical quality, and ensure images are properly documented and filed.
  • Provide clear instructions to patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and are comfortable throughout.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage.
  • Assist with patient preparation and provide support during and after imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid certification as an X-Ray Technologist (e.g., ARRT) and state licensure as required.
  • 1 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferred, but will accept new graduates!
