Job description

SEEL, LLC is seeking an experienced and engaging Energy Training Facilitator to educate and prepare individuals for careers in the energy efficiency, clean energy, electrification, and utility industries.
This position will serve as the program's energy subject matter expert by developing and delivering virtual and in-person trainings, training materials, presentations, and educating participants on energy career pathways, industry trends, and certifications, preparing our pipeline to be workforce ready.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging virtual and in-person training programs.
Create curriculum, presentations, participant guides, and training materials.
Educate participants on energy efficiency, clean energy, electrification, utility careers, and emerging industry trends.
Support training related to certifications such as BPI, EPA 608, OSHA-10, CPR/First Aid, and other energy-related credentials.
Track participant progress, attendance, and training outcomes
Represent the program at industry meetings.

  • Coordinate and assist with the training setup, organization, and management of training locations, classrooms, labs, test house, equipment and training materials.
  • Other duties as assigned- Assist with special initiatives, events, training and workforce development activities as needed.


Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy efficiency, utilities, clean energy, HVAC, workforce development, training, or a related field.
Experience in developing presentations, training materials and deliver training.

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and virtual learning platforms.
    Ability to travel throughout Illinois.


Preferred Qualifications
Highly preferred certifications such as BA-P, EPA 608, OSHA-10/30, NABCEP or NCCER.

  • NCCER & NABCEP certifications are highly preferred: Qualified candidates without these certifications will be considered.

Experience with workforce development programs and energy-related training.
Experience working with diverse populations and career pathway programs.
