SUMMARY: The Flex Technician - Trainee must learn, get train and be responsible for all critical processes (Handling, hand scrub, tack lam, cap remove, Kapton tape apply, epoxy bead, layup complex rigid flex.), related to Flexible Products.

DUTIES:

  • Responsible for project prioritization.
  • Be familiar with and enforce all company safety requirements.
  • Initiate cost reduction without sacrificing quality.
  • Inform appropriate manager(s) of any potential problems.
  • Ability to wear/work with common forms of rubber and plastic use for PPE.
  • Work extended hours base on company needs and be available for after hour emergency calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to train operators and document in a timely manner.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, protective glasses, face-shields, etc. and work within the confines of a room where concentrations of chemicals are located.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours base on company needs and be available for after hour emergency

Hourly Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
