OM Tree Service is looking for a passionate and skilled ISA Certified Arborist to join our growing team in Houston, TX! This is a client-facing role where your expertise directly drives the business, you'll be in front of homeowners and property managers every day, diagnosing tree issues, generating your own leads, building the plan, and closing the work. If you love working outdoors, enjoy talking with people, and want your knowledge to translate into real earnings, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform professional tree assessments, diagnostics, and health evaluations for residential and commercial clients
  • Develop, price, and present tree care proposals including pruning, fertilization, pest management, and removal
  • Close estimates on-site and follow up with clients to convert pending proposals into scheduled work
  • Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
  • Cultivate new business by identifying opportunities in the field; canvassing neighborhoods, following up on past clients due for service, and building relationships with property managers, HOAs, and landscape partners
  • Identify tree diseases, insect infestations, and structural defects using ISA best practices
  • Prepare written reports and proposals for clients detailing findings and recommended treatments
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with ANSI A300 standards and local regulations
  • Consult with clients on tree preservation, planting, and long-term canopy management

  • Active ISA Certified Arborist credential (required)
  • Strong knowledge of tree biology, plant pathology, and integrated pest management (IPM)
  • Comfortable presenting recommendations and pricing directly to clients
  • Self-motivated approach to generating and following up on leads, not just working assigned appointments

  • Prior experience in a sales, estimating, or consultative client-facing role a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work outdoors in Houston's heat and varied weather conditions
