Job description

Location: Open to candidates anywhere! If you're near Poughkeepsie, NYyou can work on site. If not, this role is 100% remote, permanently.

Work Hours: Central European or Eastern USA time zones, with some flexibility

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience & location

Key Tasks & Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Produce high quality front end solutions that meet business requirements, on time and within budget

  • Work collaboratively with design, development, management, & QA teams

  • Work on multiple projects

  • Troubleshoot front end issues & provide rapid solutions

  • Follow best practices & coding standards

Requirements
  • Experience with Shopify or BigCommerce (this is a must!)

  • Experience with:

    • HTM5L, CSS3, XML, cross-browser support, & mobile/responsive development

    • CSS frameworks & pre-processors (like SASS & LESS)

    • Javascript MV Frameworks (like Backbone, AngularJS, Ember, React)

  • Familiarity with:

    • Templating frameworks like Knockout.js

    • Module loaders like Require.js

    • Modern frameworks like ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS or VueJS

    • UI/UX principles

  • The ability to:

    • Produce clean, well-documented, & standards-compliant code, with an eye toward performance optimization

    • Identify issues, errors, & bottlenecks, and provide solutions
