Job description

BerryDunn’s Management and IT Consulting Group (MITG) is seeking a Management and Information Technology Consultant who will help to provide independent and objective consulting services that address challenges associated with organization, management, and information technology for our clients.

You will be a part of a team that helps clients advance their strategy, technology, and operations. Core services you will be involved in include: strategic planning, vendor selection, project management, system implementation, change management, assessments, risk management, and process improvement.  This position is planned for the Portland, Maine, office.  

Travel Expectations: Travel to client sites can reach up to 50% in a year


  • Work on a variety of engagements within our four practice areas: higher education, healthcare, commercial, and compliance, security, & risk management (CSRM).
  • Work alongside our team serving our clients, participate in business development activities, perform research and analysis, and contribute to other value-added tasks for the group.
  • Research, write, analyze, and create client-facing deliverables.
  • Participate in client meetings, develop agendas, meeting recaps, and status reports.
  • Participate in team-based client projects.
  • Support the proposal and new business development process.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Economics, Risk Management, Information Technology Management, Strategic Management, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science
  • An ambition for learning and taking on personal challenges
  • A willingness to work on a wide variety of projects and tasks
  • Demonstrated an ability to work with ambiguous situations
  • Track record of team projects and leadership experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The base salary range targeted for this role is $68,000 to $72,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
