VMR Strategic Solutions is seeking an RMF/Security Assessment. Are you interested in joining a dynamic team responsible for supporting USCYBERCOM’s internal command IT systems, as well as enterprise-wide cyberspace operations systems? We’re seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to play a pivotal role within this team.

Your role will involve strategizing, executing, enhancing, and monitoring security protocols to safeguard computer networks and critical information. You will also be instrumental in responding to and mitigating computer security breaches and threats.

As part of this role, you will diligently enforce cybersecurity principles and standards in the provision of IT and cybersecurity services. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting and implementing security solutions that uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise information. You’ll identify and propose improvements to security controls, offering recommendations to tackle intricate cybersecurity challenges. Collaborating on cybersecurity and IT budgets, you’ll also orchestrate the seamless integration of new security hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

Duties

  • Oversee information system security through the Certification & Accreditation (C&A) process.
  • Review and assess System Security Plans (SSP) and propose security mechanisms.
  • Evaluate and document the efficacy of implemented solutions to uphold the "CIA Triad" (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability).
  • Familiarity with DoD Cybersecurity Policies.
  • Experience with Xacta Solutions (Xacta 360).
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), ACAS (Security scanning software), vCenter, WSUS (Windows Server Update Service), and/or STIGs/IAVA.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for engineering effective solutions.

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of one of the following security certifications (active status): CGRC, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO (minimum DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification).
  • Proficiency in Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance.

  • TS/SCI with current Polygraph
