ThirdParty Risk Management (TPRM)'s mission is to reduce extendedenterprise risk at Vanguard. We protect Vanguard through our stewardship of the third-party risk lifecycle and enable strategic, riskinformed decisions.

As aGovernance SpecialistontheTPRM Strategy & Governance team, you will play a key role in advancing this mission by strengthening how third-party risks areidentified, governed, and managed acrossVanguard.If you are interested indriving forward a highlyvisible, rapidly evolvingglobalprogram withenterprise impacts, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Steward and evolve Vanguard'sGlobal TPRMPolicyandassociatedstandards.
  • Develop enterprise risk metrics, dashboards, and reportingtocreate improved transparencyand inform third-party risk reduction activities.
  • Lead assurance initiatives to strengthenthirdpartyrisk oversight,monitorcompliance with TPRM policies and standards, and drive enterprise accountability.
  • Support enterpriseand departmental initiativesthat advance the maturity, effectiveness, and sustainability of Vanguard's globalthird-party riskprogram.
  • Provide strategic risk advisorysupport forrisk partners anddivisional stakeholders, serving as a trusted thought partnerforthird-party risk.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years' related work experience, with twoyears'experiencein risk management.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

Ability to collaborateand engage with key program stakeholders.

Demonstrated program and project management experience.

Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Professional certification (CTPRP,CPA, CIA, CISI,CRISC,etc.)preferred.

Important Information

  • This position operates in a hybrid environment. Team members are expected onsite at Vanguard's campus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. Monday and Friday are designated remote workdays, unless business needs require otherwise.
