Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Radiology
University of Miami / UHealth / Miller School of Medicine

The Division of Breast Imaging at the University of Miami Health System and Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine is seeking fellowship-trained breast imagers for full-time faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) on the clinical educator track.

UHealth is at the forefront of clinical innovation, actively integrating advanced technologies into imaging workflows and providing faculty with unique opportunities to contribute to research, education, and advanced patient care.

The Division of Breast Imaging provides state-of-the-art services across UHealth facilities, including digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography, high-resolution ultrasound, prone and upright stereotactic biopsy, and 1.5T and 3.0T MRI with breast intervention capabilities. Faculty play a central role in training radiology residents and fellows, as well as medical students, and participate in the one-year ACGME-accredited Breast Imaging Fellowship Program.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality breast imaging services including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and breast interventions
  • Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in radiology and breast imaging
  • Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and collaborative clinical programs
  • Supervise technologists and ensure quality assurance in breast imaging services
  • Contribute to research, scholarly activities, and clinical innovation
  • Engage in departmental quality assurance, call coverage, and administrative functions
  • Serve on departmental and institutional committees aligned with UHealths mission

Qualifications

  • MD or DO, with completion of a Diagnostic Radiology Residency
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging (minimum one year)
  • Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license
  • Academic experience preferred; recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply
