Job description

Chick-fil-A at Frederick North is looking for talented and energetic Team Members to join our Kitchen Team to serve craveable food to our guests. We have full and part-time positions available. 

About Us: Located an hour north of Washington DC in Frederick, Maryland. Chick-fil-A Frederick North is owned and operated by Dwight Sones. Dwight has served as the Owner/Operator of this restaurant since its grand opening in October, 2017. Prior to his six years as an Owner/Operator with Chick-fil-A, Dwight was blessed to serve our Nation as an officer and pilot in the United States Air Force. Of his 26 years of service, 17 were spent in the flying community as an Evaluator, Instructor, Trainer, or Trainee. Dwight has been able to transition his experience and leadership serving our country to propel Chick-fil-A Frederick North into a chainwide leader in operational excellence. Chick-fil-A Frederick North prides itself on having a culture and work environment that’s second to none in the quick service restaurant industry.

Role Descriptions:

We are hiring Team Members who will perform one or more of the following Kitchen (Back of House) roles:

  • Kitchen Prep: Responsible for the preparation of food and products such as lettuce, carrots & cabbage mixture, fruit cups, salads, lemonade, tea, milk and egg wash, chicken for salads, and all other products that require advance preparation. This person will can also assist with stocking needs for front and back of the house.
  • Boards: Responsible for reading monitors and building orders, understanding the business flow and ensuring there is enough food to meet demand, communicating product needs to the Breader, producing products within Chick-fil-A quality standards and effective communication with the front of house team.
  • Breader: Responsible for thawing, rotating, filleting, and breading chicken. Should maintain a clean breading table, sift flower, and ensure coater and milk-wash are at the appropriate levels.
  • Machines: Responsible for cooking chicken products, setting all timers when the chicken products are removed from the Henny Penny pressure cookers, responsible for the \quick clean\ of each Henny Penny after 5 drops (cooking rounds), and communicates chicken product needs to those at the Boards and the Breader.
  • Waffle Fry Station: Responsible for cooking, salting and boxing Waffle Potato Fries.
  • Utilities: Responsible for assisting with breaks for Team Members, ensuring a clean storefront, taking out garbage, retrieving needed items and products from dry storage, coolers or freezers.
