You'll typically start with learning the basics of dispensing medications, understanding pharmacy regulations, and handling customer queries, all while being closely guided. Many employers also provide access to accredited training programs or NVQ courses to ensure you develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Regular feedback sessions and mentorship are common, helping you build confidence in your role and progress towards becoming a qualified dispenser.
