Sr.Net Engineer And Tech Lead

Our transportation client is building a team to modernize their crew member applications. This position will be a combination of Sr.Net Engineer and Tech Lead. As a Sr.Net Engineer looking for strong experiences with modern versions of.Net Core. As a Tech Lead, looking for great experiences building, leading, and delivering with fantastic teams!

Job Duties:

  • As a tech lead, building teams, leading the teams (vs doing), aligning with leadership, hiring, retaining, upskilling, mentoring, reporting, and partnering with Scrum Masters for capacity and velocity and participation in Agile ceremonies.
  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle from concept, design, build, deploy, test, release support.
  • Be an active participant in all scrum ceremonies and lead in the delivery of the strategic roadmap.
  • Define project scope & specifications, estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution.
  • Ensure that specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to the development teams and monitoring timelines & progress.
  • Propose the technical solutions.
  • Delivery well-designed, high-quality, fully functional, properly tested features, fixes, and enhancements.
  • Responsible for the full application development lifecycle and support.
  • Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and direction, guidance, and support on complex engagements.

Job Requirements - Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a tech lead, directly hiring and managing resources
  • 10+ years of experience with the.Net/.Net Core Framework, Web API/Web Services development.
  • 5+ years of experience with C#
  • 3+ years of experience with.Net 6+
  • 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS w/ Docker & Lambda
  • Experienced with DynamoDB
  • Experienced with Entity framework
  • Proficient in using testing tools such as Xunit, MOQ but will consider expertise with Selenium, or Python
  • Experienced in Automating, Configuring, and deploying instances on AWS, Azure environments
  • Experience using JIRA, ADO, GIT, etc

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
  • Mongo DB, NoSQL, TeamCity, Microsoft TFS
  • Airline experience a plus
  • Microsoft/AWS certifications a plus
  • Load testing preferred

Required Skills: Agile Methodology, Scrum Master.
