Job description

Badlands Tank Lines is the largest crude hauler in the U.S. and is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to work in our Ohio, North Dakota and Utah areas.

The Transport Trainee position offers hands-on training, competitive opportunities, and the chance to build a long-term career in the energy transportation industry.

As a Transport Trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn the safe and efficient transportation of crude oil. Drivers will operate Class A tractor-trailers, navigate challenging road conditions, and follow strict safety and operational procedures.


· PAY

o $250-$375* per day while transporting and learning the crude process

o $475-$525* per day (load based pay) once fully trained to haul crude independently

· REQUIREMENTS * This is not entry-level work.

o Must be willing and able to work outdoors sampling and transferring oil for an hour or more at origins and destinations in all weather conditions

o Must Be Disciplined in Following Strict Procedures and Safety Protocols

o Minimum 2 years recent Class A driving experience Required

o Manual and Auto-Shift Transmissions Available

o Hazmat and tanker endorsements and current medical card Required

o Chain-up experience Preferred

o Experience driving in adverse winter weather conditions Required

o Mountain driving experience Preferred

o Ability to obtain a TWIC card Required

o Acceptance of slip seat driving Required

o No DUI, major speeding careless/reckless driving within 5 years

o Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs and work in outdoor elements of the location.

o Must be reliable, have a positive attitude and be a team player.
