Systems Integration Engineers play a key role in the engineering, integration, enhancement, testing, and sustainment of AMOC’s surveillance, ISR, telecommunications, and data systems, including AMOSS, ISR Systems, and related ancillary platforms.

Systems Engineering & Integration
  • Engineer, integrate, test, and deploy new and existing C4I systems, sensors, and data feeds supporting AMOSS and ISR Systems
  • Analyze system requirements and design solutions to enhance air and maritime surveillance capabilities
  • Integrate radar, ADS-B, flight plan data, satellite communications, GPS tracking, and tactical data links into a unified operational picture
  • Support installation, reconfiguration, relocation, and expansion of mission systems at AMOC, CAMOC, COOP, and offsite locations
Software & Interface Support
  • Support development, modification, and maintenance of AMOSS software and interfaces
  • Assist with integration of new sensors and air/maritime movement data sources
  • Participate in debugging, system optimization, and performance tuning
  • Support Web-based AMOSS capabilities and user interface enhancements
Testing & Deployment
  • Develop and execute Installation Plans, Systems Acceptance Test Plans, and Software Version Description Documents
  • Conduct system testing to ensure operational readiness and compliance with DHS/CBP security requirements
  • Validate systems before connection to the operational baseline to mitigate mission risk
Operations & Maintenance Support
  • Provide tier-two troubleshooting and remediation for complex system and integration issues
  • Support 24/7 mission operations, including surge and time-sensitive events
  • Participate in failure analysis, impact assessments, and corrective action planning
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate system diagrams, “as-built” drawings, and technical documentation
  • Support configuration management and Change Request (CR) processes
  • Ensure solutions align with DHS, CBP, and Federal Enterprise Architecture standards
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
  • Work closely with Government engineers, operators, and third-party vendors
  • Support coordination with other government agencies, including the FAA
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings and program reviews

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
Experience

  • Experience integrating complex hardware, software, network, and sensor-based systems
  • Familiarity with surveillance, ISR, telecommunications, or mission-critical operational systems
  • Experience with AMOSS, ISR systems, radar tracking, or air/maritime surveillance platforms
  • Programming or scripting experience (e.g., C, C++, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Experience supporting DHS, DoD, or other federal mission systems
  • Knowledge of Agile development and system lifecycle processes
  • Familiarity with satellite communications, KU-band systems, or NOC operations
Technical Skills
    • Systems engineering and integration methodologies
    • Linux/UNIX-based systems
    • Networking concepts, data flows, and system interoperability
    • Configuration management and controlled system baselines
    • Troubleshooting complex, multi-system environments
