Description:

SAP Basis Analyst

At Novocure, every role contributes to extending the lives of people living with cancer. As a SAP Basis Analyst you will support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP landscapes under the guidance of senior Basis resources. This role focuses on day-to-day operational tasks, incident triage, documentation, and technical maintenance to ensure SAP system availability and performance. Exposure to Microsoft Azure is a plus.

What You'll Do

  • Perform daily SAP system monitoring and basic troubleshooting, and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Support transport management activities, including monitoring import queues and coordinating with functional and development teams.
  • Assist with routine Basis operations, including user administration requests (as applicable), spool/printer support, housekeeping, and log reviews.
  • Help execute standard operating procedures for system start/stop, batch job oversight, and interface connectivity checks.
  • Support planned maintenance activities such as kernel/SAP patching preparation, system refresh tasks, and client copy steps under supervision.
  • Maintain documentation and runbooks; contribute to continuous improvement of operational procedures.
  • Work within change management and incident management processes; provide clear status updates and ticket notes.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required (with escalation support).

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience supporting SAP Basis operations in an enterprise environment (internship/co-op experience counts).
  • Working knowledge of SAP NetWeaver fundamentals and common Basis transactions/tools.
  • Basic understanding of SAP landscape concepts, transports, client administration, and monitoring practices.
  • Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows administration concepts (services, filesystems, logs, basic performance checks).
  • Exposure to databases used with SAP (HANA and/or others) and awareness of backup/restore concepts.
  • Comfortable following documented procedures and learning through hands-on support and mentoring.
  • Azure exposure is a plus (VM basics, networking concepts, monitoring).
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset.

What We Offer

This pay rangewhich Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $90,000 - $100,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
