Description - What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Evaluate test outcomes meticulously for precision, diagnosing any discrepancies, while performing routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
  • Support specimen collection and manage sample preparation when the need arises.
  • Meticulously document all procedures, mentor newcomers or trainees, and uphold the standards of laboratory quality assurance.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitized working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certifications.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
  • Continue to maintain active certification throughout your employment period.
Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Possess independent reasoning and problem-solving abilities, particularly in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail, particularly regarding quality assurance and procedural documentation.
