This position is available for current students or recent graduates with the ability to work 30+ hours per week. This is a one year position.

What You Will Do

  • You will ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented

  • You will check that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements

  • You will carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey

  • You will help establish the site "Health, Safety, Security and Environment" operation procedures and oversee their application

  • You will carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it

  • You will assist in implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.

  • Be aware of developments in the legislation.

  • You will update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments

  • You will review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions

  • Support Site HR in ensuring compliance with all V5000 requirements, including documentation, reporting, and process adherence.

  • Coordinate and assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and staffing updates to support workforce planning.

  • Monitor employee attendance and manage point tracking through ADP, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.

  • Address employee concerns and escalate complex issues.

What You Should Have

  • You should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree OR be a recent graduate with the ability to work 30 hours per week

  • You should have completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA
