The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with practical expertise in transportation systems, delivering data-driven insights that inform infrastructure development and policy decisions.

  • Develop, calibrate, and validate advanced transport models using industry-standard software (VISSIM, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, ARCADY, DYNAMEQ, AIMSUN, or similar platforms) to analyze traffic operation conditions, junctions and network performance.
  • Utilize and update transport models to assess the impacts of road closures and construction detour plans at corridor and junction levels.
  • Coordinate the modelling work and data exchange between strategic models and micro-level simulation models.
  • Conduct comprehensive transportation studies including transportation master plans, traffic management plans, traffic impact assessments, corridor studies, active transport plans and parking studies.
  • Analyze complex transportation data sets and synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Design and execute scenario modelling to evaluate the impact of proposed transport interventions, policy changes, and infrastructure investments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, urban planners, and government agencies to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate modelling results and planning recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay current with emerging transport planning and traffic engineering methodologies, modelling tools, and best practices in the industry.
  • Mentor junior modellers and contribute to the professional development of the team.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Participate in stakeholder engagement sessions and public consultations to gather input and communicate planning initiatives.
