The Role
We are seeking self-motivated, detail-oriented Merchandisers to enhance the visual appeal and organization of our retail garden centers. You will be responsible for following planograms to ensure the effective presentation and maintenance of live shrubs, trees, roses, and seasonal items. By maintaining high standards of plant care and providing exceptional customer service, you will play a key role in maximizing sales.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

  • Display plant material according to set standards
  • Building, setting and taking down seasonal displays
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the garden center to create an inviting shopping environment.
  • Maintain and help sell plant material, which may include watering, signing, & pruning
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor, store employees and other service teams
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding plant care and product selection

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Capacity to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to stand, walk, kneel, squat, and bend over consistently throughout the day
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation & valid driver's license
  • Customer service experience
