Job description

Fire Sprinkler Superintendent

Atlanta, GA area

Lead High-Impact Life Safety ProjectsOwn the job site. Deliver systems that protect lives.

You’re the one who can walk onto a project, see the whole field, and get a fire sprinkler install done right — safely, on time, and to spec.

In this Superintendent role, you take full control of fire sprinkler installations across one or multiple job sites, driving schedule, quality, and compliance with NFPA and local codes.

You run the field team, coordinate with other trades, keep inspectors and project managers in the loop, and make the tough calls when issues hit.

If you’ve led complex fire sprinkler projects in the field and know how to manage people, plans, and pressure, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Work On

You’ll be the point person overseeing end-to-end installation of fire sprinkler systems on active construction projects:

  • Fire sprinkler system installation projects from start to finish
  • Multi-trade coordination on active construction job sites
  • NFPA standards and local code compliance in the field
  • Commissioning, testing, and inspections of sprinkler systems
  • Field quality control and safety oversight
  • Material, manpower, and equipment planning
  • Change orders and field-driven scope adjustments
  • Client, GC, and inspector relationships on site

You’ll lean on your advanced knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, installation methods, NFPA standards, and your ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.

This is where technical fire protection expertise meets real-world job site leadership.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Overseeing all aspects of fire sprinkler system installation on one or multiple job sites
  • Supervising and managing foremen, fitters, helpers, technicians, and subcontractors
  • Coordinating manpower, material deliveries, and equipment needs to meet project schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications
  • Conducting regular job site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Serving as primary field contact for project managers, general contractors, and inspectors
  • Mentoring and developing field personnel, including foremen and assistant superintendents
  • Supporting commissioning, testing, and inspections of fire sprinkler systems
  • Resolving field issues, change orders, and coordination challenges with other trades
  • Enforcing OSHA and company safety policies consistently
  • Using Microsoft Office applications for project communication and documentation
  • Accessing active construction sites, including ladders, confined spaces, and work at heights
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade education preferred
  • 10+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience
  • 3+ years in a foreman or assistant superintendent role
  • Advanced knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and installation methods
  • Strong understanding of NFPA standards
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing complex job sites
  • Ability to walk active construction sites, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • NICET Level III or IV in Fire Protection preferred
The Experience That Will Really Get Our Attention

You’ve been the go-to person on challenging fire sprinkler projects, trusted by project managers and GCs because you know how to keep crews productive, inspectors satisfied, and work moving without sacrificing safety or quality.

You’re comfortable juggling multiple sites, mentoring up-and-coming leaders in the field, and digging into drawings and specs to solve problems before they become delays.

High-signal experience: NFPA standards • Fire sprinkler installation • Field supervision • Foreman / assistant superintendent leadership • Multi-trade coordination • Construction drawings and specifications • Microsoft Office • NICET Level III • NICET Level IV

Why This Opportunity?

This is a chance to step into a key leadership role where your field judgment, code knowledge, and ability to run crews directly impact project success and life safety.

You’re not just another name on a roster — you’re the face of the project in the field, empowered to lead, solve, and deliver.

You’ll join an established fire protection organization with a full-service footprint across design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance, and real opportunity to grow your career in the trade.

Important Requirements

Must be able to work on active construction sites, including walking, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces and at heights, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs

Interested?

If you’re a seasoned fire sprinkler leader ready to own the field and grow your impact, let’s get your experience in front of the hiring team.
