Join one of the most forward-thinking media organizations in the country as a Revenue Financial Analyst at Hearst Newspapers. The Revenue Financial Analyst will work with all of Hearst Newspapers' publications across the country and partner closely with the Advertising and Consumer Marketing teams to develop standardized processes and reporting. This role will provide financial insights that guide data-driven business decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze monthly financial results and explain key variances
  • Build financial models and perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Prepare clear, data-driven presentations for senior leadership
  • Manage reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across business units
  • Assist in the monthly financial close process
  • Help drive synergies across markets through standardized processes, reporting, and best practices
  • Partner with Advertising and Consumer Marketing teams to improve market standardization and operational efficiency

What You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with pivot tables, formulas, and modeling
  • Experience or interest in tools like PowerBI, Oracle, Salesforce, or SAP
