Django/Python Trainee

This is a remote position. Django/Python Trainee - Job Description Must have: Looking for individuals with a can-do attitude. We realize that you may have little to no experience with Python/Django and that is fine. This is a high visibility role with a very high ownership of the product. We are looking for someone who takes pride in owning a product and figures out ways to improve the performance, code quality, and maintainability without being asked to do so. If this sounds like you, you must apply! Responsibilities: Writing Modular Python code that is easy to understand. Ensuring application architecture's long term maintainability. Writing unit tests that ensure the code continues to work. Required skills and experience: Skills: Willingness to figure things out on your own A desire to frequently refactor your code to improve its readability and efficiency A desire to get better at building web applications using Django and Django Rest Framework Able to work individually and collaboratively as a team Experience: Has shipped and iterated multiple features (in the form of college or personal projects) 0-1 years of experience with Python/Django Education: Experience is more important than education. Location / Work Model: Remote First, Work From Home
