About the Role:
We are seeking a high-potential Project Engineer Intern with a passion for leadership to join our Project Management team. This is not a "shadowing" role; you will be tasked with leading advanced software and system-level projects from a management perspective. You will act as the vital link between technical engineering execution and business strategy, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and timing.
Seeking a current student or recent graduate who is available to start as soon as possible and work on a full-time basis, year-round. Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead Technical Workstreams: Drive advanced SW/System projects under the mentorship of senior PMs.
  • Cross-Functional Interface: Act as the primary bridge between System, Software, and System Validation teams to ensure technical alignment and transparency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with R&D, Finance, Sales, and Industrial teams to align project progress with broader organizational goals.

2. Planning & Governance
  • Schedule Integrity: Maintain and audit project timelines across the portfolio. You will ensure milestones are met and proactively flag risks to the schedule.
  • Change Management: Own the Change Register. You will drive discussions across the PM team to ensure all Change Request (CR) details are documented, analyzed for impact, and tracked to completion.
  • Process Compliance: Support and manage workflows involving V-Model, ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Cyber Security requirements.

3. Operational Excellence
  • Methodology Implementation: Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks (as appropriate) for resource allocation and task scheduling.
  • Audit & Quality: Conduct internal audits on project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.

What You Should Have:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Embedded, or Computer Engineering.
  • An interest in or pursuit of a PMP certification is highly beneficial.

Technical & Professional Skills
  • Engineering Foundation: Previous experience or academic projects in software development, system architecture, or system validation.
  • Systems Literacy: Understanding of infrastructure, hardware-software integration, and the complexities of embedded systems.
