Job description

We are looking for a motivated HVAC Retrofit Lead Installer to join our installation team. This position is designed for experienced leaders who are eager to install HVAC systems into existing structures with precision, ensure system compatibility, and maintain strict code compliance. You’ll work closely with project managers to overcome challenges, educate clients on system operations, and uphold safety standards while training and mentoring installers on every job site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC systems into existing structures with precision and efficiency
  • Ensure system compatibility, code compliance, and customer satisfaction
  • Educate clients on system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices
  • Collaborate with project managers to overcome challenges and meet deadlines
  • Stay current with HVAC retrofit technologies and techniques
  • Uphold safety standards and lead by example on every jobsite
  • Train and mentor apprentices and junior team members

Qualifications

  • 3 years of HVAC experience
  • Experience in HVAC installation with retrofit focus preferred
  • Strong understanding of duct design, system compatibility, and install standards
  • EPA certification and Gas Mech 1 license required
  • Willing to obtain WA Electrical Trainee Card and work towards Journeyman License
  • Ability to troubleshoot and commission HVAC systems
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and teammates
  • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Comfortable working evenings or weekends as needed

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Nate Certification
  • Gas Piping, electrical, or low-voltage experience
  • Washington 02 Electrical License
  • Ability to read job plans, blueprints, or layout drawings
  • Understanding of jobsite safety regulations and requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Service Titan
  • Procore knowledge
