CNC 4 & 5-Axis Set-Up Machinist – Experienced- Aerospace & Defense Machine Shop

Advance CNC Machining-Grove City, Ohio

$40 per hour DOE

We are seeking an experienced Set up Machinist who’s enjoyable to work with, that demonstrates the effectiveness, ownership, and drive needed to help our growing $20 million company keep up with rapidly rising demand.

At Advance CNC Machining, we specialize in producing high precision machined parts for customers from coast to coast including equipment manufacturers, food, drug and the aerospace and defense industries. What You’ll Do

As our experienced Machinist, you’ll provide accurate setup expertise while modeling the accountability, resourcefulness, and collaboration that define our culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up CNC machining centers for production
  • Creating first article parts for verification
  • Supporting CNC Operators during production runs

Compensation Package includes:

  • 401k plan with a generous 100% employer match up to $5200 per year

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Set up Machinist who brings the proactivity, integrity, and aptitude to excel in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment.

The skills needed:

  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CMM data, including GD&T.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and more.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines
