Driver Trainee Program (Class A CDL) IDK Express LLC

Post-training pay: $24.00/hour (anything over 40 hours in a pay period is paid at time-and-a-half)

Schedule: Consistent weekly hours 35 hours/week minimum, with opportunities for extra shifts and overtime

IDK Express LLC is hiring motivated individuals who want to launch a career as a professional Class A CDL driver. Weve partnered with TruckU to offer ADVANCE Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A) training. If you successfully complete the program, youll have the skills and opportunity to join the IDK Express fleet.

TruckU provides hands-on, safety-focused instruction from experienced trainersmany with millions of miles on the road. Training includes classroom learning, yard practice, and real driving time to prepare you for a dependable, long-term career.

Key job responsibilities

• Haul no-touch freight using modern equipment and technology
• Run local routes that support a strong work-life balance (work 2 days, off 2 days)
• Maintain a minimum of 35 hours per week, with optional additional shifts and overtime
• Deliver on-time service and meet customer expectations every day

Basic qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must pass a background check
• Must complete TruckU ADVANCE CDL training
• Must pass the IDK Express road test
• Must demonstrate strong, defensive driving skills
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
• Must meet DOT Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements
• Must have a positive Drive-A-Check (DAC) report

You will not be employed by Amazon, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partners with Amazon.
