About the role
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Audit and Inventory Department. This position requires a strong background in dealership title and registration operations, California DMV registration and inventory policies, BPA transactions, and team management
What you'll do
  • Oversee daily operations of audit and inventory.
  • Oversee daily in-house BPA processing.
  • Supervise Audit and Inventory employees.
  • Mentor and train Audit Specialist I, II, III, Lead.
  • Mentor and train Inventory Specialist I, II, III, Lead.
  • Provide support for the Director of Internal Operations.
  • Provide support for Audit and Inventory employees.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective internal/external communications.
  • Maintain up to date record keeping.
  • Maintain a safe and hazard free working environment.
  • Maintain the security of PII.

Qualifications
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of manager and dealership/title clerk experience to include but not limited to:
    • Effective people management skills.
    • Dealership title clerk experience.
    • Experience using FLSP (BPA) software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of:
    • CA DMV forms
    • CA DMV registration policies for all transaction types
    • Reviewing and understanding a vehicle record (KSR)
    • Reviewing and troubleshooting all BPA transaction types.
    • BPA non-critical and critical errors.
    • BPA processing for all transaction types

      • Used Vehicle (CA & Non-Resident)

      • Renewals
      • Duplicate Title
      • Duplicate Title for Auction
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs or more.
  • Working hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
