Description
  • Assess and evaluate patients in inpatient or outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs
  • Implement physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Inform and educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and essential home exercises
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with all facility and regulatory guidelines
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to promote coordinated patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited program
Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred: CPR certification
  • Specialized credentials (such as neurological or geriatric certifications) are advantageous but not mandatory
