CGH has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Air Traffic Management (ATM) Specialist to join the CGH Team.Purpose:Support process analysis to describe and create defined business, IT, facilities and operations controls and processes associated with the Joint Air Traffic Operations Command (JATOC) and JATOC areas.Responsibilities:Air Traffic Operations Assist Support:Provide on-site, and virtual, support for FAA System Operations, Terminal, Safety, and Technical Operations personnel working the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Watch Officer (AWO) position by providing assistance, coaching and tools necessary for AWO duties.Schedule and facilitate collaborative messaging meetings with FAA Senior Technical Operations Watch Officers (STOWO) and the JATOC General Manager.Update and maintain multiple AWO email lists, adding new recipients to the lists as requested by FAA leadership.Update and maintain an integrated schedule for team members who are conducting AWO, Air Traffic (AJT) Specialist, and AWO Assistant duties.Develop and publish new Read and Initial articles and memorandums regarding FAA senior leadership's direction as it relates to AWO duties and messaging. Review the AWO Significant Event Emergency Notification System (ENS) checklists and make adjustments to scripts based on user inputs and direct observations. Update the ENS notification list with agency personnel changes as required.Audit and update the Read and Initial Binder at the ATO Watch Officer desk.Continuous updates to the JATOC Outlook Briefing distributed to Executive Leadership. Provide comprehensive Quality Control audits of ATO Watch Officer messages to Executive Leadership. Publish the results of these audits weekly and monthly as directed by the JATOC GM.Continuously update and maintain the JATOC AWO Incident Monitor Dashboard, including Daily Operational Items, JATOC Personnel list and Events list.Operational Review and Improvement Support:Attend the JATOC Element Manager's meeting with the JATOC GM when requested. Attend the bi-weekly JATOC General Manager and Support Team Specialist's meetings. Support the JATOC General Manager in meetings regarding the implementation of the FAA SkyWatch program. Training Support:Provide the JATOC Crisis Action Team (J-CAT) Crisis Response Manager with updated modules for inclusion in their new personnel training.Coordinate and conduct AWO familiarization and OJT training for new ATO Watch Officer personnel.Design and facilitate small and large-scale readiness exercises for all JATOC personnel. Provide post-exercise reports including lessons learned.Delivery of Leadership training to all JATOC personnel.Other Support:Provide administrative support for the JATOC General Manager as required and the JATOC Crisis Action Team (JCAT) Response Manager during Huricanes/Significant Events. Provide the JATOC Crisis Action Team manager with pertinent status reports and data for the Air Traffic Organization Chief of Staff report.Assist the Air Traffic Watch Officer with setting up SkyWatch accounts, various website bookmarks and using the status boards. Provide off-site support at the Mt Weather Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during exercises and duplication of service efforts, conducting AWO duties at a contingency location. Qualifications Number of Years Experience Required:10+ years delivering similar support within the aviation industry. Minimum Education and Certifications Required:Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Degree in Aviation, Engineering, or Math is preferred.Technical Skills Required:Computer Skills:Microsoft Office 365Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:U.S. Citizen or person with valid U.S. Work Visa who has lived in the U.S. for three or more years.Must be available for shift work (day, swing, evening) as team operates 24x7x365, including holidays.Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills a must.Must be highly organized, reliable and have excellent time management skills.Must be a team player with a proactive work style.While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear and use a computer/keyboard/mouse for several hours on a daily basis. May require occasional light lifting of up to 10 pounds.
