Position: Infrastructure Engineer - Trader Voice & Recording Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Duration: Contract Job ID: 179459 Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. This role involves supporting and enhancing a regulated voice recording environment, which is critical for capturing and retaining trader and business communications to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. The position will focus on platform maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and supporting modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trader voice environments, voice recording platforms, and regulatory compliance technologies. Responsibilities: Perform platform maintenance and lifecycle management. Execute infrastructure upgrades and modernization efforts. Remediate vulnerabilities and manage patching processes. Monitor system health and provide operational support. Engage in engineering design and implementation activities. Support migrations and strategic platform initiatives. Participate in data center closures and platform consolidation efforts. Assist in transitioning to newer transcription and voice analytics capabilities. Contribute to cloud migration efforts using virtualized infrastructure and OpenShift platforms. Qualifications: 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education. 5+ years of experience with NICE Trader Recording (NTR) or Verba Financial Compliance (VFC). Experience with Proteus, Continuity Replay, or Vodafone recording integrations. Proven experience in platform migration or consolidation projects. Familiarity with on-premises to cloud migration of infrastructure or application workloads. Understanding of build/deploy pipelines, release management, and configuration management tools. Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and data centers. 2+ years of experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Experience with lifecycle management, including patching, maintenance, health checks, and decommissioning. Understanding of business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions. 2+ years of information security experience. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
