Job description

Who You Are:

We are looking for a talented Quantitative Trader to join our Onchain Trading team. This is a technically deep, high-ownership role at the intersection of algorithmic strategy, decentralized finance, and protocol-level market structure. You will contribute across the full trading lifecycle - from building risk infrastructure and designing strategies to managing protocol relationships and structuring liquidity agreements.

What You'll Do:

Risk & Allocation

  • Build and maintain risk monitoring systems and capital allocation algorithms for our onchain curator program
  • Contribute to quantitative frameworks for position sizing, exposure management, and drawdown controls across DeFi protocols
  • Support real-time portfolio risk tracking across chains and venues

Strategy Design & Execution

  • Design and operate bespoke trading strategies across DeFi protocols, including AMMs, lending markets, perpetuals, and structured products
  • Identify and exploit structural inefficiencies in on-chain markets, liquidity pools, and token incentive mechanisms
  • Iterate on live strategies based on on-chain data, protocol changes, and market microstructure developments
  • Monitor deployed strategies and manage operational incidents across multiple blockchains

Liquidity Agreements

  • Assist in the design and negotiation of custom liquidity provision agreements with protocols, DAOs, and ecosystem funds
  • Support structuring of incentive arrangements, token agreements, and liquidity mining programs
  • Track performance against agreed terms and contribute to counterparty reporting

AI Implementation

  • Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-5 years of experience in quantitative trading, systematic strategy research, or algorithmic development
  • Solid Python programming skills, with experience building data pipelines, backtests, or trading tools. Keen interest in exploring and working with new technologies
  • Deep contract-level knowledge of DeFi protocol mechanics - AMMs (Uniswap, Curve, Orca), lending markets (Aave, Morpho), and other protocols
  • Understanding of blockchain infrastructure and on-chain data
  • Degree in a quantitative field - Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, etc.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
  • Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangementsย
  • Flexible Time Off (paid)
  • 3% 401(k) company contribution
  • Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
  • Generous paid Parental Leave
  • Competitive family planning benefits for US employeesย
  • Opportunities to learn about the Crypto industry
  • Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues
  • Free daily snacks and weekly breakfasts/lunchesย
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Free coaching and counseling sessions through Headspace
