Reporting to the Vice President, Valuations, this position supports Fayโ€™s Mortgage Servicing Rights investment strategy by assisting with pricing, trading, valuation and portfolio management decisions. The role is responsible for cash flow modeling and analytics that contribute to the effective valuation and risk management of the MSR portfolio. The position collaborates with internal departments including Finance, Capital Markets and Servicing to support investment execution and ongoing portfolio optimization.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related quantitative discipline
  • 3+ yearsโ€™ experience in structured finance, trading or related financial field
  • 1+ yearsโ€™ experience focused on Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSRs) or mortgage capital markets
  • Strong understanding of MSR valuation methodologies, cash flow modeling and discounted cash flow analysis
  • Experience with MSR valuation platforms and behavior models is strongly preferred
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, with strong working knowledge of SQL and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of Python and R strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function in a pressure environment with defined times for deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment

  • The hiring range for this position is between $92,500.00 - $112,000.00 annually
