Hendrick Motorsports, a leader in the automotive racing industry, is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician, for our Concord, NC Campus.
Summary:Underthe direction of the Facilities Manager,the Facilities Technicianperforms a wide variety of building maintenance and repair tasks. You will perform maintenance and mechanical duties for related facilities, furnishings, and equipment.
Duties will include HVAC, painting, plumbing, electrical, and roofing. A general overallknowledge of equipment machine maintenance isrequired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to runsmoothly;building systemsoperateefficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
  • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Inspect,operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
  • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers or obtain them from storerooms.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures.
  • Inspect used parts todeterminechanges in dimensional requirements, using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Perform electrical work, including repairing or replacing switches and wiring and other site electrical issues.
  • Manage andmaintainheating and cooling systems.
  • Repair building structures, including installing shelving, repairing equipment,andrepairing roofing.
  • Paint building interiors and other items as needed.
  • Assistwith building ground maintenance and lawn care as needed.
  • Operate forklifts, golf carts, and other mechanical equipment needed for work completion.

Desired Work Experience:

  • 6+ years
  • HVAC experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptituderequired.
  • Must be able to effectivelyutilizehand and power tools.
Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Forkliftcertification
  • ESCO EPA 410A certification
  • Lock Out / Tag Out training and certification
  • Trade License preferred but notrequired
