Job description

SV Microwaveโ€™s Marketing Internship is an excellent opportunity for a college student or high school senior with an interest in manufacturing or the aerospace/defense industry to gain valuable experience with a global leader.ย  As an intern, you will use various marketing disciplines to promote SVโ€™s products and services to existing and prospective customers. This is an on site, paid internship.
Responsibilities
  • Use Canva or Photoshop to assist with advertising, including ad creation and placement
  • Create and post original, organic social media content across a variety of SVโ€™s accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube)
  • Work with internal team and 3rd party agencies to create original advertising campaigns
  • Manage advertising schedules, and placements with industry trade publications
  • Track campaigns for effectiveness and report results to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare internal training PowerPoints for sales team on latest NPI product
  • Create external emails using MailChimp announcing new product in stock, as well as supporting collateral (like blogs)
  • Support brand reach and awareness efforts by maintaining and building SVโ€™s presence on external 3rd party sites in advertising and distribution channels

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in or recently graduated from a marketing or related degree program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint are a plus)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Problem solving expertise
Beneficial, but Not Required
  • Interest in using social media to creatively express a brandโ€™s product
  • Interest in video marketing
  • Experience with editing software (Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro)
